    Fr. Stan Bijak, OMI: his Silver Jubilee of Priesthood and 50th birthday.

made our celebration of Fr. Stan’s Birthday and Silver Jubilee of Priesthood such a happy success!!!

Dear Felician Sisters

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

        Today we thank God for “spiritual presence” of our dear  FELICIAN SISTERS  that “has been felt and enjoyed by countless people in the Niagara area”.  We have “feeling of gratitude and appreciation for these 47 years of dedication, commitment and hard work” that Felician Sisters have manifested in their religious vocation.  “This spirit of dedication has been a living example” to our parishioners. (Bishop John  O’Mara)

        Greetings and welcome to all, to our Sister Mary Alexandrette, SM Blaise, SM Aniela, but especially to our special guests.  Through the efforts of Fr. Stan Puchniak, OMI and Sir Alexander Kuska, the first Felician Sisters SM Colette, SM Crescentia, SM Irene, SM Joanne and the late SM Raphael – arrived on August 10, 1953 to teach at the new Sts. Peter & Paul School and to assist in this parish.  Other sisters present here today who also lived at the convent, and most of whom taught in Welland and surrounding area schools are:  SM Albinette, SM Aniela, SM Assumpta, SM Jean (Josephine), SM Joseph, SM Josette, SM Lynne, SM Marilyn, SM Michelle, SM Theresa, SM Thomas, SM Roselle, SM Sulpicia and SM Veronica.

“YOUR REWARD WILL BE GREAT IN HEAVEN!”
