Rising from the Ashes June 1998


      
June 1 1998 - Sign marking the site being prepared for new church construction


       
June 6 - Original foundations are exposed and new concrete footings are poured


   
July 16 - New steel beam spire with cross and our historic bell awaiting it's new home


   
July 16 - Lapka watches as Father Jan and our contractor inspect steel beams


   
August 1 - View of steel beams and front wall starting to take shape


     
August 4 - Exterior and interior view of front wall as it rises up


    
August 4 - Interior view as framing begins and supports are added to inside of front wall

August 9 - Bricks being applied to front wall and protective wrap over west exterior wall

October 4 - Laminated roof beams being covered with plywood and skylight canopy


   
October 31 - Skylight windows are installed and the roofing shingles applied

November 28 - Interior lighting and sanctuary backdrop design installed


   
November 28 - Rose window stained glass and main entrance doors installed


   
December 7 - Carpeting, new pews being installed and our new organ is delivered


   
December 9 - Our organist and choir with our new organ


   
December 11 - Our Resurrected Christ statue being prepared and attached onto it's new location


   
December 11 - Two of our new stained glass windows


   
December 11 - Sanctuary furniture, Risen Christ and pews are all installed


    
December 11 - Madonna della Strada being admired by Sister Alexandrette


   
December 12 - Front and side views of our church's unique design


   
December 12, 1998 - Our church is completed, awaiting it's first parishoners through it's doors
