Since the Autumn of 1988, our members have distinguished themselves at battle re-enactments in Ontario, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, Louisiana, New York and Belgium. In addition, we have appeared in numerous parades and Living History demonstrations at museums, schools, community sponsored events and historic sites throughout Ontario. We are proud to be the host unit for the "Battle of the Thames" re-enactment held the first weekend of October each year at Heritage
Days in Chatham, Ontario.
Become a member of the Kent Military Re-enactment Society by joining either the U.S. 27th (infantry), the Kent Volunteers (civilian men at arms) or the Kent Citizens (civilian). If you feel this is the kind of activity you would like to become involved in, then, we would like to talk to you. All you need is a sincere interest in history and a desire to make a lot of great new friends. We will help you with the rest!
Membership in the Kent Military Re-enactment Society is $15.00 for a single or $25.00 for a family per year. There is also a one time initiation fee of $25.00. Take the first step and write or e-mail us at the following addresses.
