Trouble Shooter - Trouble Maker - Bon Vivant
Most of the time, I do consulting work for the Canadian military - basically I get paid to play computer wargames. At other times, I'm an officer with The Lincoln and Welland Regiment, a reserve infantry unit of the Canadian Armed Forces. My hobbies are scuba diving, genealogy, science fiction, the occasional peacekeeping mission (Middle-East, Congo, Sierra Leone) and collecting military stable belts (anyone out there with some to trade?). I have been the sometime host of the Poker Game at the End of the Universe.
Here is a picture of me as a guest of the Israelis at a rifle range in the Negev. From 1993 to 1994, I served as a peacekeeper with the Multinational Force and Observers in Sinai, Egypt. The more observant among you will have identified the weapon I'm carrying as a Glilon (shortened version of the Galil) 5.56mm assault rifle. Well spotted, that man.
I was privileged to make a guest appearance in TalonSoft's World War II simulation WEST FRONT. Highly recommended.
