Hi, I'm Sean. I'm a Computer Science Major at
Brock University.
I have interests in artificial intelligence, computer graphics and image
processing.
Some of my projects
Here are some of the things I've done mostly at Brock. Some are work
related and others are assignments for classes.
Rebel's Revenge
This was a graphics project done by myself and
Scott Konkle. It is a
Star Wars MPEG, about 27 seconds long. You can download it
here.
Here's a couple of screen shots

SiPS

This is a small image processing program which I helped write for a group project.
It may still be modified in the future. It is complete with a user manual and
a couple of samples. SiPS
is freeware, with the usual disclaimers.
Geovision
Geovision is an image processing application that is an on going project. It
uses the
Rotating
Polarizer Stage developed by Dr. Frank Fueten. It interfaces with a video
capture board to obtain images from a microscope, and processes them for measurement and mineral
identification.
PPP Connections
This is an on-line
manual
I helped write which goes through the steps of setting up a ppp
connection to an Internet Service Provider.
On-Line Database Project
This was a project for Cosc 2P32, a course on databases. Unfortunately it no longer works
since the database it was written for no longer runs on the server.
The interface still exists and has an
administration
area and an
application
area.
Connect 4
I have also created a connect 4 game, which you can play against the computer.
It uses artificial intelligence techniques, and has beat some pretty good players.
It currently uses a text based interface on Irix Unix, but it will be avaiable for
download once I port it to Windows 95 and give it a GUI.
Other Interest
I am a big music fan, and one of my favorite bands is:

I also play guitar, soccer and am a huge fan of the
Toronto Maple Leafs
